Wearing Spring Trends, In Not So Spring Weather
Spring trends are so exciting, we see them in our latest edition of Vogue and we want to integrate them into our wardrobe tout de suite. Unfortunately the weather doesn't always cooperate... Us who live in the northern states (like Montana) just have to be a little more creative in finding ways to wear the latest looks. Here are three easy spring trends to try and how to style them flawlessy for the sudden snow flurry.
The Mule Shoe
The mule shoe is a wardrobe staple that will last well into fall. Best of all, it's work appropriate with its sophisticated shape and closed toe. Spring it up a bit with a striped button-up shirt tucked into a cropped distressed jean. Mainstay accessories like a wrap watch, black fedora, and gorgeous stone inspired earrings and are ready for everyday wear. For ladies that wear a uniform everyday, this will be yours this spring.
The Bomber Jacket
The bomber jacket is making a strong comeback this season, and really what is more practical than an easy throw on jacket option? Army fabrics are also being seen again as a staple, making this light jacket the perfect combo. We then go casual with a pair of comfortable converse shoes and a loose fitting light pink tee. Gray jeans are my new favorite pant because they are such a fresh take on denim and are so versatile to style. A statement granite earring completes the outfit.
The Culotte Pant
For the bit more fashion daring give the culotte pant a try. It can be a little intimidating, but when styled right can look amazing on any figure. The key in this look is to go fitted on top and add a pair of sexy heels to elongate the legs. It creates an almost skirted flowing feel when worn. We finish with some badass jewelry, that has a slight boho vibe.
